Babies of Kalva Laxmi is 11 day old twins boy and a girl born as extreme preterm with extreme low birth weights with respiratory distress/HMD hypotension and suspected sepsis,. Babies are being treated with mechanical ventilatory support with IV antibiotics, IV Caffeine and incubator care. Due to their financial condition they had been going door to door for financial support and hence could not get any support. They are in Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Hyderabad, Telangana. Doctors informed them that both of them requires NICU stay The approximate cost is around 10-15 lakhs but support required is Rs. 5,00,000/- for a prolonged stay in NICU.
